Italy and the surrounding area’s fire district are in dire need of improving the fire department to take care of all of us in case of fire and ambulance needs. It is a volunteer fire station so it already runs for less. But it has needs to do its job for us, the people. As publisher of the Italy Neotribune I would ask all to support the very small increase in taxes. We will all get back benefits in help as well as lower fire insurance costs. Please vote favorably for the improvement.

There has been a sign put up in the City Community Center for a Meet and Greet for the candidates for this evening, Monday April 15th. This sign has been posted by the present Mayor and listed as a Meet and Greet. The Mayor informed Mr. Hobbs that it was to be a Meet and Greet and made it sound like it was meant to be just exactly that.

There seems to be some confusion in our community. I, Paul D. Perry, am not a plumber, nor am I related to the gentleman who shares my first and last name who is a plumber. I am running for County Commissioner, Precinct 3. My name is Paul D. Perry. I believe the plumber has a different middle initial.

I want to make the Italy of tomorrow, better than Italy when it was in its heyday. If you want things to keep going like they have been, then I am NOT your candidate.
