Saturday at 11:00 am Hobbs Feed and Supply was over flowing with hungry guests, eating hamburgers and hotdogs and could be seen hobnobbing with KBEC radio personalities and some political guests.

KBEC was broadcasting live and having a lot of fun doing it. Lorie Mosly (with KBEC) said, “I am here with KBEC 1390 and Gary Bishop. We are just excited to be out here at Hobbs Feed and Supply today to celebrate this customer appreciation event. There have been a lot of folks and a lot of fun.”

Gary Bishop (with KBEC), “We are excited about being able to talk to Brian Birdwell and would love to talk to all the folks.”

Brian Birdwell was busy visiting with all of the guests. He could be seen shaking hands and having a good time talking to everyone.

Brian Garlitz is an attorney who ran for Ellis County Republican Party Chairman in March. He and his wife Kim and their daughter Brenlin were there. “We are here to see James and Joyce Hobbs and enjoy some good food, enjoy the day and talk with Brian Birdwell.”

When asked how she thought the customer appreciation event went, Joyce Hobbs(co-owner) said, “Overall I think it went really well. There were approximately 150 people that came through. The turn out was great and we were well supported by the citizens of Italy and surrounding areas. We thank everyone that came out and we appreciate everyone’s business. The food was good and everyone seemed to have a good time and stayed around to visit despite the heat.”
