The Italy City Council will have a meeting on Monday, July 13. Along with departmental reports, agenda items include discussion and possible action regarding the addition of a stop sign at the corner of Ward Street and Seay Road and two Economic Development Corporation (EDC) items regarding a contract with the Miracle Development Corporation and reimbursement for administrative duties for the EDC. Also, during closed session, the Board will deliberate necessary action regarding compensation to the City Secretary/Administrator for services provided to the EDC.
The meeting will be held in the Council Chambers at City Hall located at 105 Main Street beginning at 6:30. This meeting is open to the public and all is welcome to attend.
